Empire 5" x 8" Direct Vent Flex Vent Connector

The Empire SD58DVAFCF is the DuraVent DirectVent Pro flex vent connector for 5" x 8" venting. Empire's Boulevard 60" and 72" manuals recommend it when installing flex venting on fireplaces whose flue and inlet collars sit flush with the top of the fireplace.

Installation Notes

• Installation: using the connector means removing or cutting off the 5" adapter from the DVVK5F flex flue. Seal the inside of the 5" flex flue, slide it onto the connector's 5" flue takeoff, and secure it with a 5" band clamp and at least two screws (Boulevard 60" manual).
• Flex kit: the DVVK5F flex vent kit is not on our site, so ask us if you need it.
• Vent limits: allowed lengths, elbows and termination clearances differ from one appliance to the next. Follow the venting section of your appliance's manual and the vent systems it approves.
