The DuraVent DuraTech 8" Base Tee is a critical chimney system component designed for efficient clean-out access and directional change in DuraTech 8-inch double-wall chimney pipe installations. Ideal for use with wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, and all-fuel venting systems, this base tee enhances chimney draft performance, maintenance convenience, and system safety. It is engineered as part of the trusted DuraTech chimney system, ensuring secure, code-compliant installation in residential and light commercial applications.

Built with Thermal Tech blanket insulation encased between dual walls, the system keeps the outer chimney wall cool while maintaining high flue gas temperatures for optimal draft efficiency. The inner wall is 25% thicker than competing systems for added strength and durability. Tested to strict UL 103HT standards, it withstands continuous operation at 1000°F, one hour at 1400°F, and three 2100°F chimney fire tests, ensuring long-term reliability and fire-safe performance.

Subject to the limitations set forth below, DuraVent warrants that its products will be free from defects in material or manufacturing, if properly installed, maintained and used. DuraVent products are fully warranted if installed only by a professional installer. This Warranty is transferable from the original homeowner to the buyer of the home. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, smoke damage or damage caused by chimney fires, acts of God, or any product that was: (1) purchased other than from an authorized DuraVent dealer, retailer or distributor; (2) modified or altered; (3) improperly serviced, inspected or cleaned; or (4) subject to negligence or any use not in accordance with the installation instructions included with the product as determined by DuraVent.
