The DuraVent 5DT-AWSXx DuraTech Adjustable Extended Wall Strap for 5 and 7-Inch Diameters provides a premium product for use with the DuraTech chimney system. These adjustable wall straps are used to add support for the chimney structure. These units ensure a wall clearance of at least 2 to 6 inches is met and are required for every 8 feet of chimney length. Available in both galvalume or stainless steel options, one part covers two diameters (5-inch diameter covers 7 and 9 inches, while 6-inch diameter covers 8 and 10 inches).

DuraTech is a double-wall chimney system for use with wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, ranges, water heaters, or other appliances fueled by wood. DuraTech is designed for normal, continuous operation at 1,000 degree flue gas temps. NOTE: Venting components should be installed by a licensed installer in accordance with local codes and within the manufacturer's specified guidelines as noted in your appliance's installation manual.
