Coyote FAQs
What is the difference between the C, CL and SL Series?
The C-Series is the compact line, 30" and 34" with three burners. The CL-Series adds Infinity Burners, heat zone separators, exterior lights and safety valves in 36" and 42". The SL-Series adds an infrared sear burner, a rear rotisserie burner, ceramic briquettes and a spring-assisted hood, in 30", 36" and 42".
Can I use a built-in Coyote grill as a freestanding grill?
Yes. Most Coyote grills have a matching cart. Buy the freestanding package to get the grill and cart together, or add the cart later to a grill you already own.
Do I need an insulated jacket?
If the island is built with combustible material within 24" of a Coyote gas grill, side burner or power burner, Coyote requires the matching insulated jacket. Pellet grills have their own jackets, required within 12". Each grill page lists the jacket that fits it.
Why does my island need vents?
Coyote requires at least two vents in each island cabinet with a gas connection, so gas cannot build up inside the cabinet. The Coyote stainless steel island vents come two to a box.
Natural gas or propane?
Coyote gas grills, burners and the hybrid pizza oven are offered for natural gas or propane. Choose the fuel on the product page; conversion kits are available for many models. The Portable 25" Grill is propane only.
What else should I order with a Coyote grill?
Each built-in and freestanding Coyote grill page has a What to Order section listing the jacket, vents, cover and add-ons that fit it, such as covers, rotisserie kits, Signature grates, briquette sets and a smoker box.
