The DuraVent DVL-ADC DVL/DuraBlack Chimney Adapter with Trim provides a premium product for use with the DVL chimney system. This component connects a double-wall DVL and/or single-wall DuraBlack to DuraTech, DuraPlus, or DuraTech Premium, and DuraLiner for a through-the-wall or ceiling support installation. This component is required for proper connection and features stainless steel construction.
DVL offers a double-wall, air-insulated design to reduce clearances to combustibles from 18 inches to 6 inches--the closest clearance to a wall of any connector pipe. DVL improves stove performance by maintaining high flue gas temperatures for a strong, steady draft. The stainless steel inner walls of DVL pipe heat up faster and stay hot longer to minimize the formation of creosote and prolong the life of the chimney. NOTE: Venting components should be installed by a licensed installer in accordance with local codes and within the manufacturer's specified guidelines as noted in your appliance's installation manual.
